I live to glorify God. This brings the most joy that one could have, and I desire to share Jesus’ love with as many as possible until I meet Him face to face. I was a high school youth pastor in Kansas City at Covenant Chapel for 7 years until we moved to Budapest, Hungary to work with college students with Campus Crusade and EPC World Outreach. I enjoy the teachings of John Piper and owe him so much for his dedication and focus on lifting up the name and glory of our Savior. Thanks John.

 

My wife Rivers and my girls Joy and Lydia are the most precious gift that God has given me. My desire is that I will love them and serve them the way that Jesus loves and serves His church.

 

Time with Rivers – cook, eat, serve at church, movies, boardgames, hang with friends…

Time with Joy – playhouse Disney, legos, chase, hide and seek, singing

Time with Lydia – chase, sliding, and dancing

 

Began bass and guitar at 15. Love to write and record music. Have recorded 3 albums: Overflow, davep, & .:upwardhill. Also love to lead worship and teach others to play and lead. Here is the worship book I use.

 

I love to play. Enjoy tennis, ultimate Frisbee and disc golf, golf and team sports. Boardgames is my most recent hobby and my favorite games are Dominion, Heroscape, Epic Duels, Robo Ralley, and Pandemic. My video game love has been narrowed down to just one game...Starcraft 2.
